- Description
- The Mistletoe Trail is an original Choral composition, with music and
lyrics written by Gerry (E.D.G.) Siviter.
The Choir parts are standard S.A.T.B.
The Piano accompaniment is standard Grand Staff.
The music is in a traditional, flowing style with Contrapuntal elements.
The lyrics are drawn from the composer’s life experiences, telling the
story of a person walking a forest trail on a cold winter’s morning. Snow
blankets the forest floor and coats the surrounding trees and shrubs
with a soft coating of pristine white snow. The walker knows this forest,
or at least he thought he did!?
The song ends with an open, multi-faith meaning and a question for all
mankind. I hope you enjoy performing this music.
The Score introductory provides a fuller description of the story behind the song.
The Score also provides a blank page for the Conductor to make performance notes.
The .pdf file is a complete publication in its own right with Score; Parts in S.A.T.B. and Piano/Keyboard accompaniment.
