COMING SOON (But After Christmas)! A Unique First Arrangement for Wind Orchestra!!!

I have been working on a major new project for Wind Band and I am proud to now announce it will soon be ready publication. This major new work for Wind Orchestra/Band is, to the best of my knowledge, a first in the field of arranging and publishing for Wind Ensembles. This piece is an arrangement of a major Johann Sebastian Bach work. Until the piece is complete in it's fully published form I cannot release any more details, or indeed the title, of Bach's original work. I am a major fan of J. S. Bach's music. I have studied his life, his music and his devotion to music. Some time ago I fell in love with one of his works, or should I say a part of a Bach work, that was in itself, an interpretation and reworking of a composition by another, earlier, German Composer. I formulated the idea that it could possibly work as an arrangement for Wind Orchestra/Band. I felt that the modern Wind Band, its broad instrumentation capabilities and flexibility could do justice to the wonderful interweaving complexities of this major Bach work. This arrangement is based on an authoritative 19th century Urtext edition of the original Score. I am very proud to say that the compositional task of arranging this Bach work for Wind Orchestra/Band is now complete and the task of page layout and pre-publishing has commenced. As I progress through the tasks of bringing this major, possibly unique arrangement to the point of completion and publication, I will post updates on progress.
